Adding new users

Hi There,

I have a demo environment and trying to add new users to the environment. But the "New user" option is disabled and many options like "get new users from O365" dont exist for me. Is this related to permissions? Any thoughts on how can this be resolved will be helpful. Thanks.

If it was provisioned via CDX transform you should have been assigned a specific admin user when the tenant was provisioned.

You shoud be able to see those login credentials if you go to demos.microsoft.com

There is no one apart from me. I created this tenant via CDX Transform with our O365 credentials. The tenant has been provisioned without the Admin privileges with me as the only user.

At the time of provisioning this tenant I wasn't a Global Admin in O365 Admin Centre and perhaps that is the problem. I am now but that hasn't granted the Admin privileges in BC. Not sure how to resolve this.

But there needs to be at least one user in the implementation that has the admin rights.

Are you able to figure out who that user is?

Hi, Yes I have both the BC licenses and a Global Admin in the M365 Admin Centre.

Hi, I'm using the same environment as you.

Please confirm again whether the user you are logged in has a BC license.

Also, please confirm whether there is a role of Global Administrator. (Other roles are also available, but for the convenience of testing, Global Administrator role is recommended.)

Hi, If you are talking about SaaS, please confirm whether the trial period has expired?

Generally, you need to add users in Microsoft 365 Admin Center first, and then go to BC to update users.

If the environment you have is an ordinary trail version you should be able to add users as described here:

bc365.co/.../

Maybe add screenshots so we can see what options you are missing.
