Hi Amir, I haven't seen this specific message, and I don't have access to an AX system to check my answer, but I guess that 'Lot' in this instance refers to all of the issues and receipts related to the production order.. One of the enhancements in AX 2009 (over AX 4) was that the system checks that some inventory dimensions (like config) are consistent in a series of inventory transactions (like a transfer journal). I'm guessing that you are raising the production order in one site, and then when you're editing the production BOM you're inadvertently changing the site and warehouse when you try to change the location on a BOM line. Why do you need a location on the BOM line? If you reserve inventory (say at produciton order start) it'll find the on hand in any location. If you want a fixed pick from location, can you use a default issue location on the BOM line item's item warehouse record (or on the warehosue itself)?
