Attach File from FTP to F&O

Hello all,

I am CRM Developer but unfortunately, I got to work on D365 FO for a short work.

My Requirement is to Read the PDF files from FTP and attach to the Product Table in F&O.

I can use logic app to read the file. 

Now my questions are

1. do we need to do any kind of customizations to FO to accept the attachment from the logic app? 

2. For attaching the pdf file from logic app, do we have to zip the actual PDF file (from FTP) along with the manifest and other files, which gets downloaded, from the export job in FO?

    There is EcoResDocumentAttachmentEntity which could be used for this purpose. It's not public, therefore you can't use it via OData (and connectors based on OData), but you can use data management APIs.Alternatively, you could create a similar, public entity.

    You need the manifest etc. if you use the package API - the documentation page Data management package REST API covers some differences between two data management APIs.

    I have done similar PDF attachment to F&O using PowerAutomate . But you can use logic apps to achieve your task . Entity is different for you .
