Tried everything I can see on here, even though much of it dates back to 2011. All files are cleaned, It looks the relationships are not being picked up.
Has anyone any ideas on this please?
Best Regards
Bill
Hi Bill Morton,
As an alternative to the Full Data Export template, you could complete a Salesforce to Dynamics 365 data migration with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), the KingswaySoft SSIS Integration Toolkit for Microsoft Dynamics 365, and the KingswaySoft SSIS Integration Toolkit for Salesforce.
Hi Adrian
Many thanks for your reply.
There are plenty of tools out there but all cost upwards of $1,000 and this is something that should work out of the box without any extra cost.
You can do it with SSIS, and the SSIS Integration Toolkits for no cost. I am not sure where you got the arbitrary figure of upwards of $1000. It will only cost well upwards of $1000 if you pay someone to do the work for you.
I do not believe that this migration is something Salesforce would want to work out of the box, considering that they do not want people to leave them for Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Hi Bill,
What issue you are facing. Please refer the below documentation regarding salesforce to Dynamics 365 migration-

Hope this helps.
Hi Ravi
Thanks for the reply.
I have gone through that post and followed it to the letter but the import still doesn't work. I did think about posting on the thread you mentioned but it looks like it hasn't been live for some time.
I have a full data export from Salesforce and have cleaned all files of unprintable characters as described. Each table will actually import separately, so it doesn't look like there is anything wrong with the data from that point of view. The problem seems to be that the table relationships aren't being picked up, so the import fails. Even tried the user table first followed by the Account table (using the SF Full Data Export map) and it gets further but fails to pick up the relationship so doesn't import. If I don't import the Users table first, the Accounts table fully imports with no errors.
Any ideas gratefully received.
