I have a form with a view and a table as a data source, how can I edit the values in the table?

DataSource

-> Table

-> View

GridView

Table_Field1, Table_Field2, View_Field1, View_Field2 ....

How i can edit Table_Field1 and Table_Field2???

Actually my gridview has Table datasource, and it allows me to edit, but I do not know how to relate  'View.RecIdCustTrans' -> 'Table.ReferenceRecId'

Thank Very much

    Hi,

    Instead of adding view as the datasource, you can include the tables from the view query as datasources to the form and join your table(as datasource) using properties joinsource and LinkType.

    Refer following links:

    (Form Data Source Properties [AX 2012])

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../aa676742.aspx

    (Form data source link types - Active, Delay, Passive, Inner join, Outer join, Exist join, Not exist join)

    That try, but I do not know how to specify the fields to relate, in this case 'CustTrans.RecId' -> 'MyTable.ReferenceRecId'

    Hi,

    Define the relation between the two tables CustTrans and MyTable at the table level(Path: \Data Dictionary\Tables\SampleTable\Relations) & also the required delete action(Path: \Data Dictionary\Tables\CustTrans\DeleteActions).

    Refer following link:

    (How to: Add a Relation to a Table [AX 2012])

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../aa556809.aspx

    I did what you mentioned in the previous post, and also commented on the write() event of the view. It worked. thank you very much,
