Purch Requisition - Procurement Category Products not listed

I have all of the setups completed, including purchasing policies, but I do not see any items in the Procurement Category when selected from the drop down when trying to add lines to the Requisition in the client. I can see the newly created categories and sub categories but not the items that were linked with them in the Procurement Category form.

Any ideas? I'm super frustrated with this.

    Hello Jack G,

I would suggest that you check up the setup of your procurement categories in the procurement and sourcing module especially for the following:

    * Have you classified your procurement categories as "tangible products"?

    * Have you associated products to those procurement categories?

In addition, please also check the category hierarchy & category hierarchy type your categories have been associated with in the product information management module.

    Hope it helps,

    Ludwig

I've actually created the new categories and sub categories in the USMF company for testing, so most of the setups are using whatever is defaulted in this product category.

Procurement categories are set to Tangable Products.

    Products are associated

In the Procurement Policy I've added the new categories and sub categories to the policy.

These are now accessible in the dropdown of the Add Lines > Product Category, but the list is empty.

    Hello Jack,

An organization part(Department or whole company etc.) must be selected while setting up Category Access rule in Purchasing parameters as you already did.

Please check which department of the company have access to the category that your products are assigned to, and make sure you are a part of this department.

For example you have 2 categories: Electronics and Other.

Department A have access to Electronics and Department B have access to both of them.

If you would like to choose products from category named "Other", your user's related worker must be assigned to a position in Department B.
