Payment Reconciliation Journal error on Preview Posting

Hi Expert, 

 

I encounter an error when Preview Posting on Payment Reconciliation Journal as per following:-

 

"There is no Currency Exchange Rate within the filter. Filters: Currency Code: MYR, Starting Date: ''..08/03/22"

 

For general setup for Local Currency was MYR and Sales &Receivables setup on default posting Date was No Date

    The error is setup related but for the currency exchange rate of that currency. Try working through this to solve: docs.microsoft.com/.../

    If your local currency is MYR you should not have that currency in the currency code table.

    Because you never want to assign a currency code to transactions posting in your local currency.

    Adding the local currency to the currency code table is a mistake i have seen done many times.
