Getting instant feedback for updates in customer's orders in navision

ReportReport
Posted on by

Hi!

I have a question about navision. I've been wondering if there is a way to get the information whenever a user inserts new data concerning customers'/vendors' orders without having to navigate throughout the whole database. Is there a daily report which i can export in order to see those updates?

Br,

Penny

    Hello PME,

Please elaborate a bit on this. Are you referring to getting information about one specific customer at a time or all customers at the same time? What specific information would you like to see? What kind of  update? Are you referring to a type of sales report?

    Hi,

We don't have reports for this... Instead we have Order list Page... (Purchase Order List, Sales Order List and other list pages as well...) you can export these List by filtering by Date...

But if you want you can create a simple report... or use Query...

There is no such report for this as system stores data in different tables

    You need to create/customized report.

If you are lucky to use RTC, you can use Save View option.

Once you have "navigated throughout the whole database" to a place that is interesting, and you know you would need to go here frequently, you can save that view and put a link to that to your shortcuts. This view would be saved with the same filters and sorting that you had applied. Thus, you would be able to appear there in just one click next time!
