Good Morning,

As i am importing customers through AIF.

The xml file is different.So.i must use XSLT

So,is there any possibility to export from AX AOT->resources

Any XSLT Example for Customer creation would be highly appreciated

You can find a plenty of information about XSLT language on internet, but it's unlikely that you'll find something that converts exactly your source structure (whatever it is) to exactly the structure you need. Programming usually isn't that easy. :-)

If you have an AOT resource with XSLT, you can simply right-click it and choose Open.

    Hi martin,

I want to know whether there will be inbuilt Resource for Customer Creation XSLT or we must create one new XSLT.

    Thanks.

It doesn't make sense. XSLT doesn't create customers, it's a language for transforming XML files. A piece of XSLT code transforming files of certain structure is useless for you if you have another structure.

If your input format isn't some highly standardized, you're unlikely to find such a transformation already done (much less in AOT). And if you're so lucky, it would help if you told what what the input structure is.

This is the question i have asked..But unfortunately this time also i didnt get any help.

As I said is in my first reply, you can find a plenty of information about XSLT, including examples, on the Web. You can even find some examples, such as Walkthrough: Transforming a document in Dynamics AX documentation.

But there is no way how we could give you an example for you document structure, because you didn't even tell us anything about it.

Your expectation that Microsoft predicted what program you would want to write (which requires knowing the structure of your XML), they developed it for you and put into AOT, so you just have to export it is a bit optimistic. That's not how programming usually works. If you want to write an XSLT template, a better use of your time would be learning XSLT.

It's also not true that you must use XSLT. Although it's a reasonable choice, it's not your only options. You could, for example, write a transformation library in C#.
