Hii,

We have four Account Structures for our COA. Three are active while ABC_Structure is in ABC_Structure(Draft) state for lone time. I dont know why its in Draft state and dont know who did it or maybe didnt activate after modifications.

There is a MainAccount 71101014 in ABC_Structure with mandatory dimensions configured. In general journal when we make transaction for 71101014 and validate it infolog "Dimension values were validated with this account structure: ABC_Structure". It means ABC_Structure is still working while its in Draft?

Is that possible?

And the other thing is I added another range of accounts in ABC_Structure and did not activate. In general journal when I validate one account and it didnt.

My question is ABC_Structure is still active behind the scene?

Can I could add account ranges in ABC_Structure?

Hi Rana Anees,

If an account structure was once activated and you put it into a draft state, the last activated version is still used until you activate the structure with a new/changed setup provided that the rules included in the draft structure are not included in any other active account structure.

If this ABC structure is verifying something that you do not like you have to modify it and then activate it again. An alternative is that you include the ranges and rules of your ABC structure in one of your other account structures and activate them.
