Is it possible to create salesorders instead of invoices from job planning lines?
Is this a NAV / Business Central related question?
Out of the box NAV (and BC), the answer is No. You can only create a Sales Invoice from the Job.
You can however create a Sales Order manually, then add the Job No. information to the Sales Line to link the Revenue to the Job when it Posts.
There are also ISV solutions which allow you to create a Sales Quote from a Job, which eventually becomes the Sales Order, and maintains the link to the Job throughout the process.
Other than the above, you would have to create a customization to create the Sales Order directly from the Job.
