Hi Experts,
Using Azure-Hosted VM D365 can , I login with different users except for the Administrator. Such as in ax click on the icon and press the shift button and choose as a different user. Is it possible here?
Best Regards,
Shabir Ahmad
Do you mean logging into F&O? Isn't a web application, therefore simply start your browser in private/incognito mode and when asked for credentials, provide username and password of the other user.
That's i am talking about i want to create new users and give them new roles and check them is it working with that roles just for practice purposes.
Shabir
Further, could show me how to start the browser in private /inconito mode.
I'm sorry, but your question was about logging as a different user, not about creating users, therefore my answer couldn't take creating users into account.
The documentation page about creating new users is called Create new users. Note that you can use any search engine to find documentation pages (my keywords were d365fo create user).
The same approach can be used for your last question as well. For example, check out Browse InPrivate in Microsoft Edge.
Yes,I just told there for users creation but as you suggested how to browse inprivate i did but i didn't find any user login name or user login id check in the image.
Now that you opened the browser in private mode, just type the URL of the D365FO application and login with any credentials that you wish! No matter if it's a local VM, or cloud hosted, or an UAT or prod system, it works exactly the same: navigate to the system URL with your browser, and login with the credentials that you want to use. The private mode just helps you make sure that credentials that you might have stored in the browser in the past ("keep me logged in" or something like that) will not be used automatically when you navigate to D365FO URL.
Hi Shabir,
With the new Chromium based Edge browser or Google Chrome, you can setup multiple user profiles which can all use and store their own credentials. Have a look at my blog for some tips: Two new features Chromium based Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Dynamicspedia
Thanks to both of you, I followed your both suggestions. Now as i am trying to open D365 interface getting the error as shown in image. and it is not opening
I don't think that this may be related to the topic of this thread, i.e. using another user. If you try to use your own user, it must be the same.
You're either using a wrong URL, your environment doesn't work at all or you're trying to connect from a wrong place.
Hi All,
Marked this post as a verified answer, now i know how to open with different user. But I am getting another, error as i am logging with a different Credentials let me make another thread.
