Upgrade to GP2015RTM from GP10SP4

Hi,

Our client is currently on GP10 SP4 (built 10.00.1368) and wants to upgrade to GP2015 RTM (built 14.00.0524).  I want to verify that we can go through a 2-hop process by first going to GP2010 SP4 (built 11.00.2248), from there to GP2015.  Any advise on what we need to be aware of before we start this upgrade?

Thank you in advance,

Ed

    GP 10 is too old a version for an upgrade straight to GP 2015; upgrade to the last hotfix of GP 10 SP5 and you can then upgrade to GP 2013 R2 and then to GP 2015 making a three step upgrade.

    Thanks for the replies. According to this MS article mbs.microsoft.com/.../HOT_TOPIC_MDGP2015Upgrade, there is a direct upgrade link going from GP2010 SP4 (built 11.00.2248) to GP2015 RTM in one step. My question is whether or not I can upgrade from my current version GP10SP4 (built 10.00.1368) to this intermediate GP2010SP4 version in one step, making the entire upgrade to GP2015 a 2-step process instead of 3 or 4 steps?

    According to mbs.microsoft.com/.../HOTTOPIC_MDGP2010_ Update you should be ok to upgrade straight to 2010 SP4.

    Apologies or the roundabout answer. I have a number of clients with overlapping P13 so typically avoid the later 2010 servicepacks.

    *THIS*

    I am in testing but I have successfully upgraded GP 10.0 SP4 running SQL 2008 to GP 2015 Running SQL 2014.

    GP 10.0 SP4 --> SP5 + Hotfixes

    GP 10.0 SP5 --> GP 2013 R2 SQL 2012

    GP 2013 R2 --> GP 2015 SQL 2014 (March Hotfix required
