Is there a way for my sales team so see available inventory by bin?

Hello NAV people!

I am having an issue with inventory that has been taken out to the floor for processing being seen as available inventory to my sales team. They are looking in the items list at the quantity on hand as available inventory. I do see that the items list has a limit totals filter option for bin but it does not seem to work, I can limit totals by location but that is all. My hope was to be able to limit the on hand totals in the items list to our warehouse bins and exclude the bins we use for our product that is in processing. Any Thoughts?

    Bin Content table contains all the items in a bin and I think this is what you need.

    Bin content does show by item No., however it doesn’t bring in the item description so I can’t get the sales guys to look at it...

    But adding Item Description in Bin Content table is 1 minute work... ;-)

    True. Still would be great if I could get the Item list to work somehow. We have added a lot of characteristics to that table and it’s a shame that the limit totals filter is so...limited. I think though that you’ve got me on a path towards using the bin contents in conjunction with a Jet report that could give them a way to easily see what they need to see. Much Appreciated Sir.
