Cannot create a record in vendors (vendTable) and Global Address book. The record already exists.

Hello Everybody,

I am not able to insert a new record in vendor table. During saving the records , the below error pop up.

Cannot create a record in vendors (vendTable). The record already exists.

Cannot create a record in Global Address Book.(dirpartytable). The record already exists.

number sequence is manual for customer, vendor and address.

    Hi Mubarak,

    I have the same problem. In the coding at a stringedit control when i try to insert a value in the vend table. The error message pop's out that record already exists.

    So, if you have got the solution of the problem then please update.

    Hi Saurabh,

    Please try this.

    I have mutual setup for both customer and vendors.

    For number sequence Address make sure you have unique name selected  and in general setup uncheck all the check boxes.

    Vendor or customer sequence select only if manual check box or select continous check box.

    Clear all the entries in List button in addrss and customer ,vendor.

    Reset the next number which you require in all the above sequence.

    It works for me. Hope for you.

    I had the same issue while creating a new Retail store, after i enabled Retail configuration in AX2012 R3 CU9.

    Just did a database synch and AOS restart it was working well.
