Hello,
I have added a new parameter to an existing ssrs report by extending the data contract and dp classes, the parameter is showing on the dialog page but I cannot find it in the parameter list in aot in order to use it in report design, any thoughts?

You need to refresh the data source of the report then it will appear for you.

I did a dataset restore but still the parameter is not showing
Ahh is OOTB report, okay, Now please add the parameter manually in the report, and set the values everything will fine
I have defined the parameter in the contract class extension class, it is appearing in the dialog form and I am using it in the dp class without any problem.
if I manually add a new parameter in the report it will not reflect the value of the parameter already added in the contract class extension, if I am mistaken can u please explain how
You need to add the parameter into the report, and in the parameters, properties need to map data contract properly.
