Delete invoiced Sales order related to WMS

Is that possible to delete invoiced sales orders related to WMS. If You try to delet invoiced sales order manually, there's a message saying:

Sales orders cannot be deleted while dependent Order lines exist. Delete dependent Order lines and try again.

If You try to delete order lines, then following message appears:

Cannot delete - SalesLine has work associated to it.

So it appears, that if client uses WMS, then there's no option to delete invoiced sales order. Is that true ?

    Hi Satish,

    thanks a lot. It really works like You described in D365 FO.

    We have a client sitting on AX 2012 R3 CU13 with no intentions to migrate to D365 FO next few years. Do You know if there's a hotfix to get the same functionality in AX 2012 ?

    Hi Andrejs,

    You should be able to delete the order even if it's related to WMS. To verify this, invoice the order and delete the order. there were bunch of prompts but ultimately it deleted the order. Deleted order 784, you can see that i have work completed as well for the order. Verified this in PU24. Can you check if you have any customization in this area? Is the order completely invoiced and all work order closed for the order. If you have access to standard system, you can try to delete there and see if it's allowed there.

    Hi Andrejs F.,

    To my surprise; kindly explain why you want to delete posted sales orders?

    If you delete, how you will manage impact in inventory for whatever items you have already issued through SO's and which reduced the inventory?

    How you will manage receivable from customer balances and how you will do settlement for those invoices?

    Can you please help out to understand above points!

    One more concern; are you trying to do this activity in test server or in production environment? If this is something in test server and you need to delete all posted transactions, you can run the systransdelete. But make sure it is not happening in production
