I want to generate a barcode in the image format of .svg and need the output as follows:

The font for this design is BCW_UPCEAN_2 and that font is not available in D365FO, also the supported image formats in D365 are only jpg, .png , .gif , bmp etc and does not cater the .svg format. How can I achieve this output in D365FO? My goal is to generate the barcode from a 12-digit number and then save the barcode in the form of image with the format .svg and design as shown in the attached screenshot.

Hi,

As Andre said, the official documentation states the supported formats, but there really isn't one you need. You can look for custom libraries to extend the supported fonts.

Electronic Reporting provides and option to generate barcode images: Use Barcode data sources to generate bar code images - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

In case you want to develop something from x++ yourself, you would need to find a library (dll) or API that can generate the barcode.
