Recurring general journal lines deleted mysteriously

Our recurring general journal lines are all gone, but no one deleted them (or so they say). Any ideas as to how this could have happened, if no one did delete them?

    Recurring general journal lines deleted mysteriously
    The main purpose of the recurring general journal is that the system does not delete lines after they are posted. There is no automatic functionality that deletes these lines; if they are missing, a user likely deleted them by mistake. If you have the change log enabled for the table Gen. Journal Line (81), you can check who deleted the entries. However, it’s generally not advisable to enable the change log for journals.
