
I have to be upfront, trying to obtain a licence key for CRMV9 is like trying to find that pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.!
Currently using CRM2016 v.8.2 On-Premises. We have 4 logins ( Admin, 2 users, and a data importer) .
I have looked at v9 and under the 90 day evaluation an think now is the right time to update from CRM 2016
1. Do I do a clean install or update from v8.2
2. Where can I get a product key / licence from. Microsoft support hasn't been the most helpful, bearing in mind we are a small business.
Personally, I think a clean install will be best for us, but it's the product key that is the sticking point
I've looked on Action Pack and my.visualstudio.com/productkeys but cannot see it there either.
Can anyone suggest where to go from here?

There's an option that might be interesting: if you purchase a Dynamics 365 Online license (whatever the type), you should be able to request the Dual Use Rights as stated on the Licensing Guide. Starting from this (Online License & Dual Use Rights), you should be able to obtain a V9 license key on your admin center.
