Hello,
What is the recommended database maintenance procedures for GP2018 R2. I've noticed that the DBMaintenance.exe is missing and we are running into issues with SSRS. Would creating a scheduled index rebuild cause any issues?

The Database Maintenance Utility actually is only used to re-create objects such as indexes, stored procedures, triggers, functions, it really doesn't do database maintenance, if that is what you're truly looking for.
(FYI, you can copy a DBMaintenance.exe from a GP 2018 install, and copy/paste it into a GP 2018 R2 directory and it will work fine. You can't copy it from a prior version of GP, such as GP 2016, as the application version won't match the GP version, thus will throw a version error)
