RT -Marketing Lead campaign Analytics.

I have run a few email campaigns directed to LEADS. I am unable to see opening rates, or click rates. The leads are not associated to any contacts or accounts. Are the analytics only available for Contacts? Are my settings somehow incorrect?? Thanks!
