I have been trying to install Dynamics NAV 2015 on my newly upgraded Windows 10 Enterprise Edition 64-bit
The demo install gets stuck (I even tried custom installation) in the SQL Sever installation step, unlike the other posts that I checked that have the error during web service components installation. The error log shows the following registry not found. I am not sure how do I go resolving these registry errors:
Registry value not found. Key = 'VstoInstalled'
Registry value not found. Key = 'SOFTWARE\Microsoft\InetStp\Components', Value = 'ASPNET'
Registry value not found. Key = 'SOFTWARE\Microsoft\InetStp\Components', Value = 'NetFxExtensibility'
My installation is stuck at the first step itself. I tried enabling ASPNET, ASP 4.6 features in IIS (version 10). I tried establishing ASPNET access through cmd as well, but it shows an IIS version mismatch. Not sure why because with Windows 10 the IIS version is by default 10 in my opinion. What should the ASPNET version be ?
Also, I am carrying out this installation on my personal laptop so no firewall issues.
Any help is most welcome!!!

Hi Amol,
I also tried installing SQL Server components through Custom Installation and I did not select the web components. That's why I am confused because I am not installing web service components
During installation don't select web components as may be require prerequisites are not installed on your machine
