    Hi

This error means that you do not have enough stock available

Search for Items in the top right search window

Find the item that does not have stock to be consumed

Click on Related -> Item -> Items by location then click the show matrix button, and you will see what stock you have available of that item

    Hi

Also from the item card you can go to Related -> Item -> Item Availability by -> Location

This will show you the availability breakdown

I suggest you add the inventory column to the view to show current stock

    Hi

There are several ways to do this but the easiest to explain will be the items journal

What you need to do is open the "Item Journal", fill in the posting date as today

Entry type as negative to remove stock or positive to add stock

Document number to identify the transaction - eg - ADJ_01022012 (Adjustment and date)

    Item number to adjust

Location to add or remove from

    Quantity to add or remove

So you could negatively adjust from one location and positively adjust to another, or for testing just positively adjust

As i mentioned there are other ways of doing this, but this method is the most flexible for what you are trying to accomplish, there are also other considerations relating to the cost etc.
