Power Automate "Get a Record" Fails for ReleasedProductsV2 with 404 NotFound Error

Hello All,

I'm  working on a Power Automate flow that integrates with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. I'm trying to retrieve a record from the ReleasedProductsV2 entity using the "Get a record" action. I am getting an error like "Action 'Get_a_Record' failed: NotFound clientRequestId: d9fdfe06-6a96-4ed2-8f85-a7ab252f0f3a" .

When user scans 'Qr Code' ,the power app will capture the details in the 'Qr Code' and it sends to the power automate flow .

below is the flow I created in power automate

    Hi

If you are having multiple legal entities then you must specify the defaul company when requesting from power automate, check this post

    Thanks

    Hi Charan12,

Have you checked what exact value was captured for the Item ID from the scanned data? Is this have incorrect values before or after the actual item ID? The same question is there for the dataareaID.
If you intend to work with multiple legal entities, then next to the blog shared by Uday, you can also read one of my other blogs about using the Dataverse connector and virtual tables. Battle of the Connectors - Microsoft Dataverse vs Fin & Ops Apps (Dynamics 365) - Dynamicspedia

    Hi Andre and Uday-ch,

Thanks for the reply, the Itemid and DataAreaId is getting correct after scanning the data, and I set default company as 'USMF' for my user  and I want to create record in 'USMF' legal entity but still getting same error.

    Hi

You can directly give the object like this: dataareaid, itemNumber. This should solve your problem and if you try to get a record for different legal entity then you should change the default company in power automate to respective entity and update back to original company.

    Thanks
    Uday

    Hi Uday-ch,

    Thanks for your time,

even though I changed the 'get a record' trigger object parameter to like screenshot  you mentioned in your earlier reply, same I tried but still getting same error "Get_a_Record' failed: NotFound clientRequestId: d9fdfe06-6a96-4ed2-8f85-a7ab252f0f3a".

The "NotFound" error in your Power Automate flow suggests the ReleasedProductsV2 record can't be found. Verify the QR code contains a valid ItemId and dataAreaId (e.g., USMF) matching a record in Dynamics 365 F&O.

Check the Get a record action inputs in the flow run history, ensure the Power App passes the correct QR code data, and confirm the record exists in F&O. If the issue persists, share the QR code format and error details for further help.

    Hi

Could you confirm whether the issue has been resolved? If so, please mark the answer as verified or share the solution that worked for you.

    Thanks
