Hello all,

I would like to prevent users from creating an opportunity in the Marketing List Members tab. Please see screenshot below. Is there a customization that can be done to achieve this?

Thanks!

    Hy,

You can use display rule on ribbon button to check if the entity is Marketing List then hide the button. It can be achieved through web resource.

In addition to it you can also assign users to a security role and remove create privilege of those users on opportunity, but then those users will not be able to create the opportunity.

One more thing is hat you can hide the Create opportunity button from subgrid of an opportunity entity using ribbon workbench , but then create opportunity will not be displayed in any of the subgrid

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    Ankit
