Edit After Posting in Purchase Order in Business Central

After Purchase Order is posted , record is deleted on Purchase Order and the record will get set on Posted Purchase Invoice. So, I have custom table name 'SAMPLE'  having status enum  field. As soon as Purchase order is posted I want to change the status to OK from NEW. Is there any solution to this?

    Hi,

    Yes, you can use the Event Subscriber of Table Purchase Invoice Header OnAfterInsert Table, put the order No. field filter on that table find the correct data on that table and declare your custom table variable and modify accordingly,

    There are two ways I can think of to achieve this requirement.

     

    Subscribe to OnAfterInsert table event of Purchase Invoice Header and validate your requirement.

    Make your status field as FLOWFIELD which then checks if exists the Purchase Order / Posted Purchase Invoice.
