Hi,
I export a database from a Tier 2 environment, and import the backup DB into a cloud hosted environment.
I follow the steps in the article below:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/database/dbmovement-scenario-exportuat
However, in the article "If you copy a database between environments, the copied database won't be fully functional until you run the Environment reprovisioning tool to make sure that all Commerce components are up to date."
Do I need to run this Reprovision tool in my case?
Thanks,
It depends on whether you need any Commerce (Retail) components.
So if I don't need any retail components, I can skip this step?
Hi Yuji,
Indeed. When you don't have Commerce/Retail dependencies. You can skip this.
