Upgrading Databases From SQL 2005 To SQL 2012

First off - my upgrade from 9.0 to 2010 is complete!  Applause....

Now, my next task is to upgrade the Operating System to Windows 2012 R2 and SQL to 2012 in preparation of GP 2013.  But, after restoring the databases in GP 2010 (as in production), I receive an error stating that my SQL server is not a supported version (see screenshot).

I've gone into each database and changed the compatibility level to 2012, yet still receive the same message.

Any ideas?  This is not in production, but on a test vm.

Thanks.

Jeff

    Hey Jeff,

Did you apply the Hotfix KB 2654242 Version 11.00.1914 or later required for compatibility? Click HERE to go to the download page.

let me know how it goes,

Have you changed the database compatibility in SQL? Also have a look on the below link to verify whether your SQL transfer is correct.

Note: To change the SQL compatibility follow step 8 from above link.

    Hope this helps!!!

I would check out this article. You need to apply a service pack to GP 2010 to make it compatible with SQL 2012.
