Display additional product attributes on Modern POS on the product details page

Hi all,

Does someone have an idea how to display additional product attributes on modern pos on the product details page? (screenshot below)
Attributes.png

Sometimes additional attributes are shown here (like "brand" for "refrigerators" category products in the demo data), but it isn't directly depends on product attributes that are assigned in Product Attributes form (Product Information Management > Released products > Product Attributes (on the Action pane).)
(another screenshot just for the form view)

Is there any other area in AX where we can configure which attributes to display on the modern pos?

Thanks!

To do that you need to Include the attributes you need to be available with your published channel. For instance, if I want a laptop to display (in MPOS) Hard drive attribute I need to:

    1. Open Retail->Setup->Store product attributes, select your store and then click Edit Button

    2. Click Setup tab and then "Set attribute metadata", as a result you will see a category hierarchy.

    3. Select the category you need (in my case it is Laptops), as a result you will see list of "Channel product attributes" where, by default, most of the attributes (depends on specific category) could be Excluded - meaning the checkbox "Include attribute" is not checked

    4. Select the attribute you want to add to the published channel and then click its "Include attribute" checkbox so it is in Checked state:

You can ignore other checkboxes (those under "Attribute metadata") if you are not using Online Channel. Once you included the attributes you need click Close button.

    5. Click on "Internal organization" tab and then click "Publish channel updates".

    6. Execute the job 1070 and wait until it completes

Now, if I look into any product under category Laptops I will see the attribute Hard Drive included into the list of properties:

    Hi Sergey!

Could you also advice is it possible to pass and play the Video on MPOS ? (video review of the product like on web-store)?

If i treat the Video as an attribute and try to pass it using the method you've described above, video doesn't appear on mpos (even so the video is downloaded on media server)

Is there any possibility to use the video on MPOS or it's currently not supported?

You would need to implement that yourself as a customization to MPOS.

    Hi Sergey,

I see my attributes in the CPOS but I was wondering if it is possible to search on them.

I marked 'can be queried' and 'can be refined'. I would assume that makes it possible to just enter the value and the POS would find my item, but either it's not or I'm doing something wrong.

    Thanks

    Hi Sergey,

I'm facing the same issue, i tried your method but still the specification section is blank in POS.

Any idea what might cause this issue?
