    Dear Sergei

I checked the link but all the explanation is fundamentally and not practical, my problem is the functionality of the ''Run business validation'' for instance when I imported a data through DIXF,  there is no difference between click on the option Run business validation or not even I imported incorrect data but still nothing happens!  clearly I want to know what will happen if I click the Run business validation or not clicking.

    best wishes

    Hi Sepehrdad,

Here is another article that gives you some additional insights.

    dynamicspedia.com/.../

It does not include the real-world examples you are probably looking for but gives you a good overview of what happens when using DIXF.

    Hope it helps.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Sepehrdad,

There are tables with and without business logic. Can you tell what exactly you want to achieve here? What entity are you using and what is your expectation? The link provided by Sergei has indeed some general information, but your question was also general.

If you want to run the insert() or update() methods of the table, then the table should have x++ logic on those methods and you need to enable it on both the target entity and the processing group. In addition, on field level, you can enable or disable the modifiedField() triggers.
