D365FO- Data entity refresh list problem.

Hello,

When I want to refresh the entity list, i get an error like below .

Error : Error encountered while creating entity data. Please contact your administrator if this persists.

Change Tracking is not enabled on the database: SQL Server Change Tracking

I checked the event viewer ;

Error :

Change tracking is not enabled on the database

I tried to change tracking for this data entity (ProjCDSActualsImportEntity) but it is getting same error.what could be problem?

Any suggestions and solutions is greatly helpful.

Is it a dev system? Did you try enabling change tracking in AxDB database?

Hi Secil,

According to the error message you need to enable CT for the SQL database. If you (or someone else in your company) have access to DB you need to run SQL command to activate CT for the database with D365 business data.

Thank you so much for your reply.Yes it is a dev system.I changed tracking at the database level.

I solved the problem.
