Set form field based on where the form is hosted

Hi again everyone,

Case: I have a form that is embedded on multiple sites. I need to set a field dependent on what site the form is submitted and I don't want to create multiple forms and then set a prefilled field.

Question: Is there a simple way to solve this? I was thinking of making a PowerAutomate flow that looks at msdyncrm_pageurl and then based on the value then sets the field. Could this be the solution or is there a simpler solution?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Emil,

Unfortunately not at the moment. We also have tried to solve it via various ways, but still not succeeded. It is a pity that it is not already solved by Microsoft.

    Best Regards,

    Eline

    Hi Eline,

Have you also tried with a PowerAutomate flow like I suggest?

    Hi Emil and Eline,

Thank you for submitting the idea. We are reviewing it for possible implementation in the future.

There are many ways to implement this functionality, so I would like to make sure we choose the correct one. We can identify the place where the form was submitted by storing that page URL.

The important question is: what would you like to do with the page URL? Would you like to store it as an attribute of the Lead or would you like to use it as a parameter for the customer journey? There are also many other possibilities. Please let me know the whole use case.

    Thank you.

    Petr

    Hi Petr,

I think the exact URL is not the most important information. It is already stored in the website visits as all, so you can always relate. But it could be stored in the submitted form.

Currently I am also in a discussion with one of your colleagues about this issue. If you need more information or explanation. You can contact me via LinkedIn as well.

    Thanks!

    Eline
