We have recently hit the roadblock, where certain production picking journals can not be posted. tick mark on /locked by system/ appears after user is trying to Post the journal which is pretty fine as it should, however, the tick mark remains active even after /OK/ button is activated & journal remains open, not posted.
The tick mark on locked by system can be removed by any user, however, with new posting, the situation re-appers.
This is valid for certain production journals for all users who had tried to post them. some other journals got posted without having any issues.
I have searched the whole forums & tried various solution via AOT, yet up to no avail so i believe i might be missing something.
Issue has been resoved. Different team made a default item template for other purpose. The problem was, the template requested serial number a mandatory information. Thus all Manufacturing orders without this option were blocked from posting.
after we deleted the new item, the issue stopped appearing.
