Creating a "wait" period inside route operation in AX 2012

Our company is introducing a new product. Production flow is as following

Operation 1

Wait period of 24 hours

Operation 2

I have setup an operation for the wait period however if i create production order for 2 pcs the "wait" period operation is multiplied but the number of units on the production order creating a 48 hour wait period when in reality its only 24 hours from when the operator finished the 1st operation.

For example; if the first piece is processed at 9am, operation 2 can commence at 9am the next day. If the second piece is processed at 9:10am, operation 2 can commence at 9:10 am the next day.

How do I create a waiting period on the route for the items?

    Hi TK1,

Have you tried setup the field 'Queue time after' on Operation 1 instead of the 'wait' operation?
