Management Reporter not Accepting Range

Posted on by 2

I have a Row Definition that is setup with Department [000:300] and Main Account [50000:59999].  When I generate the report with this row, it only displays the GL combinations for main account 50000.  However, when I create a second row (i.e. Department [000:300] and Main Account [50000:59999], Department [000:300] and Main Account [50010])  then both the GL combinations for main account 50000 and 50010 displayed in the report.

It looks like MR isn't accepting the main account GL range.  But when I break out the main accounts, it will then display in the report.  I have refreshed Data Mart and this didn't resolve the issue.  Is there anything else to check?

Thanks everyone for their suggestions and feedback.  The fix was to apply the CU15 Microsoft hot fixes.

    Hi Anonymous,

Have you tried entering the other segments? (e.g. Company and Business Unit).

Also, which version of Management Reporter are you using?

    Hi Micki,

I am not including all departments.  I'm only including some.  Each row is meant for a different department.  I really thought rebuilding Data Mart would work but it didn't.   Any other thoughts?

    Thanks again

If you're including all departments, don't include them here - maybe that'll give you what you need

Thanks Micki for the response!  Please see the screenshot below:

If I just leave the first row of 50000:59999, it will only displays GL 50000 and all the department combinations.  However, when I add in the second row, it will display 50010.  However GL 50010 should be captured in the first row.  I have checked and there are GLs with the main account 50010 and all the departments in my range specified.

    Thanks
