Hi all,

I have created a custom entity for DMF which I will use for a file export.

Is it possible to do some action (for example I need to insert a value in the database before the export) via x++ by using a method.

I have tried a lot of method but I didn't found anything

Hi L,

There is no option for a method to be called to create records before the actual export. Can you tell what is the exact business requirement about?

As Andre said, there is no such method, you can tell us about the specific use case or the requirements you want to achieve, and you can use other methods to achieve your needs.

Thank you for your reply.

I created a specific table and populated it with data using code.

upon the screen initialization, the data is deleted, and the table becomes empty.

The table is intended to be filled with information related to three filters: company, vendor, and invoice date.

I need to export data from DMF, focusing on three specific fields: company, vendor, and invoice date.

Otherwise, I would like to retrieve data for all companies.

Hi L,

As per my understanding most of the data is not present in table and it is as per the code you have written. So go for for postBuild method. Write your code in that and export the data.

The 'postBuild' method doesn't exist.
