how to get the ledger dimension form ledger account combination

in my recent requirement i got the ledger account in report i want to get the ledger dimension from the ledger account

i am getting this ledger account i want to get the ledger dimension for the same ledger account

2221100-00000021-00000101-00000027

Hello Srinivas pamidi,

Can you explain a bit more about your requirement and what you want to achieve? I cannot identify what the different numbers represent (ledger account, department?, Business unit?).

Hello My friend

A first you need to add what you need of the dimensions, from GL - Setup - Financial dimensions

then add edit you account structures from GL - Setup - Chart of accounts - Configure account structures

I want to get the ledger dimension in budget tmp balance table insert method

2221100-00000021-00000101-00000027

(Main Account)-(Business Unit) - (Cost Center) - (Department).

In this Method every time one dimension focus is coming while we run the debugger.

I want to fetch the ledger dimension based on this dimension focus.

It's exactly the same dimension as in your other thread, how to get the detailed description of the display value in dimension attribute value combination table. I suggested an answer there two days ago, so please go there and read it. If you my reply there didn't completely answer your question, explain what else you need, instead of just creating a new thread without any reference to answers you've already received.
