Purchase Invoicing without Goods Receipt

I am able to make vendor invoice even without a goods receipt for that purchase order. I want to block this facility, so that i can make sure that vendor invoice is made only against actual receipt of goods

Please advise me how to achieve this

'Receipt requirement' item model group should be checked. This will ensure that packing slip gets posted before invoice updating the PO invoice.

Hi Jomy,

In addition: You can set a requirement for three-way matching on invoices. Then it will not be possible to match the invoice without the receipts.

Hi Andre,

I enabled the 'Receipt Requirement' in Item model group and my requirement is achieved. In that case, will I get any additional benefit by enabling three way matching on invoices ?

Hi Jomy,

It is just another way of checking the product receipts related to the invoice. The receipt requirements is enforcing the procedure. With the three way match you can also "settle" the individual product receipts in case of partial delivery.
