Hi everyone; I'm trying to solve a particular scenario I have for a food production plant.
The plant has one Cook Tank that can process a batch of about 600 kg, and it must be filled to use all it's capacity for each production order, the production time for this batch is 6 hours. The plant has one 8 hour shift from 10 to 18 hours.
So for example; I schedule the first production order from 10 to 16 hours but the shift still has two more available hours. The problem is that when AX schedules the next order it schedules it to start at 16 hours that day and to finish it at 14 hours next day.
What I'm trying to configure is that, if I don't have enough available hours for the next batch for that day (that means the whole 6 hours) is that the scheduler move that order for the next day. This means that if I can't produce the whole batch in one day to never divide the order in two days but to always schedule it to be done on the next day.
I couldn't find a way to configure this so I'm open to any ideas I can try to solve this.
