Invoice - discounts from work order products are not carried over to total discount amount of the invoice

Hi,

I have made the following observation and currently wonder, if I am doing anything wrong:

  1. Work order is being worked on and engineer fills in work order products with discounts.
  2. Work order is completed and closed by the dispatcher, so invoice will be created automatically by the standard system feature.
  3. Created invoice will show an invoice amount and an discounted invoice amount. Only thing that is missing is the total discount amount.

I would like to expose the total discount amount on the invoice using a word template.

Any thoughts towards are appreciated.

    Create a calculated field. Give the calculation logic as Invoice amount - discounted invoice amount.

    You are giving discounts to each product or one discount on the whole work order?

    In my case, it will be a discount per work order product. So it can be multiple discounts adding up in one work order.
