PO payment-Encumbrance not liquidating correctly on budget analysis

PO payments made did not properly liquidated from the budget analysis screen total , but  did liquidate properly from outstanding encumbrance report, causing the two reports to be out of balance and the budget analysis to overstate encumbrance balance. (see attached).  Not sure how to correct this?

    Hi AneSidd,

A payment would not reduce the budget because the invoice would relieve the encumbrance and not payment. The budget analysis screen and outstanding encumbrance reports could be different because they are looking at different things. The Budget analysis is looking at the budget source tables whereas the outstanding encumbrances is looking at the status of the purchase order. Unless a Purchase order is in confirmed or finalized status it's not going to be tracked on the outstanding encumbrance.

We may have to look into more details and this can be better answered with a support request. Would it be possible to submit a support request?

    Hello Poornima,

I am not worried about the budget, the issue is that the encumbrance total on the budget analysis should agree with the outstanding balances on the outstanding encumbrance report. The PO was paid and finalized, but the encumbrances were not liquidated properly on the budget analysis report, thus the budget analysis report is over stating the amount of encumbrance, which is also affecting the available balance.

There has to be a way to remove the remaining encumbrance balance from the budget analysis screen, otherwise, I believe the encumbrance will carry over into the next fiscal year with no PO outstanding to match the total?
