Financial dimension and budget control

Hi,
I rename the name of the financial dimension in D365 F&O under GL>>Chart of accounts > Dimensions > Financial dimensions.  I have setup in budget control that is enabled, and I created budget register entries.  Does it have an effect in budget checking renaming the financial dimensions name?
 
I am encountering issues in budget checking that even though there is budget, the system throws an error message that transaction failed due to budget.
 
Please help.
Appreciate your inputs.

    Name shouldn't  impact if dimension is activated. Also you update name not Value ID of dimension right? 
     
     
    Did you check the budget tracking why it is failing because in error message it will tell you by what amount or % it is exceeded.
     
    Also if require go and check the posted register entry for the combination so that you see changes are reflecting.

    Thank you for your reply.
    The financial dimension name is the one that I rename, not the dimension values description.
    The Program financial dimension was renamed to Region.
    Pls see below screenshot.
    Does it have effect in budget checking?
