Hi

We have a medical equipment where we sell it under monthly lease .But first 6 months(evaluation period) under Operating lease and then after that 6 months up to end of 30th month need to treat as Financing lease .Can we do this in NAV 2016 ? After 6 months end , will NAV be able to change it to Financing lease ?

Thanks

    Hi,

Your scenario sounds like a recurring Sales invoice.

You could create recurring invoices for the first 6 months based on the operation lease. The following 6 months you could select another recurring Sales Code.

The details of the process are outlined here: docs.microsoft.com/.../sales-how-work-standard-lines

    Hi,

You can use service module wherein 2 separate contracts can be created to bill customer. I believe all the medical equipment's come with serial no. & the service module will help in troubleshooting, tracing service log etc.

    Please try.
