Plain text only?

Hi,


We have a business requirement to send plain text only emails to a segment (so no HTML code) but after reading, I can;t see how this is possible/to switch off the HTML option. Has anyone managed this?

    Hi,

    The HTML panel is set for the design of the emails and will not affect the plain text only property.

    However, if you prefer to get rid of it anyway, please create a new designer feature protection in the Settings of the Marketing application.

    Select the Team or User whose HTML panel you' d like to block and tick the HTML in the drop list of Blocked features.

    The HTML panel will not be shown for the user/ team after save it.

    Hi Nya, thanks for the reply but it's not that I don't want the team to not see this feature - i just want to be able to send out to clients only the plain text email, not the HTML. Do you know is this is possible?

    Hi,

    The marketing emails can have a plain text version but cannot set the version as the only version.

    Please refer to the following section which explains the relationship between the plain text version and the HTML version.
