How to deploy a new MSCRM front-end instance from existing deployment

I have existing deployments of Dynamics CRM 8.0 on premise. 2 server, 1 for full CRM and the other SQL & Reporting services.

Now, I will be doing another custom app in the existing SQL instance, but I want to add a new CRM app server.

Is there any guidance or best practice for deploying a new MS CRM deployment for the front-end only and re-use the current CRM for back-end services and SQL instance?
