Hello all,
 
I have a form for NCR's (defects on machines) and when a new one is created, we create a folder on our network where they can store any and all attachments like pictures, etc for that NCR.  Right now I just put a field that shows the path to that network location ////fileshare//attachmentlocation/cr00001 or something like that.
 
A user has asked me if we can make that clickable so they don't have to copy, then open file explorer to go to it.  From my research, it seems like that is not possible but I thought I would ask.
 
Can we make a button that opens file explorer and goes to a particular path on our network (as long as they open it from a network computer)?

    I don't think you can open File Explorer (although it may depend on the browser) but you should be able to open the local path in a web browser. Try something like new Browser().navigate('file:///c/');. Let us know if it worked, because I can't be sure without actually trying it.

    I tried your code and I keep getting this
     
     
    I tried both Edge and Chrome and turned off pop-up blocker but no luck.
