Hi everyone,

I modified manually fecthxml in a saved query inside the customization.xml file because i need to order by attributes retrieved using link-entity .

After this change, even if the query is correct , not always but often, when records have a change, in the subgrid the error message "0x80041103 query build error" shows up  . Following image represents the error.

What are guidelines to construct Fetch xml query for views of entities?

Or the problem is in the view layout?

Thanks in advance

Eugenia

    Hi partner,

Since you want to order your records in subgrid by link-entity attributes, why don't you add the attributes into the column directly?

For example, I have a contact subgrid on account form as we know, and I want to order the contacts by the related leads created on time. So I add the lead created on time attribute as a column in contact associated view.

    Save and publish.

We could see that the column has been added to subgrid successfully and we could order the list by this field directly.

If you still want to use fetch xml, I recommend you to raise a ticket to Microsoft and let the engineers help you on the server side.

    Regards,

    Leo

    Thanks Leo

but changing columns doesn't fit the user requirements.
