Voiding checks

Can I void a check from 2022, that was returned uncashed today? Will it change any reports from 2022? Or should I just leave it alone since it was returned? Thanks

    Voiding checks
    If you don't void it, it will always stay on  your outstanding checks list on the bank rec.
    You can just void it using today's date. it will re-open the voucher and you can print a new check. it will not affect any reports from 2022 as long as you use current dates.
