Language JSONs are not found by event portal

Posted on by 247
Hi guys,
we are using the provided portal code for our event portal and we uploading the main.js, style.css etc. manually - and it works great (so far)
The problem is, that our language jsons are not found by the portal. (404)
We have special frame:
  • The portal is "Power Apps portal hosted"
  • The portal developer has no access to MS Dynamics
  • Our deployment admin are not  able to install required software components our client computer
    • Thats the reason why our developer provides the "main.js files "and we are uploading it manually to web files
Now we have implemented "mulit-language" like it is descriped:
And we have uploaded/replaced the JSONs languages to portal managed web files.
But the portal is not able to find the JSONs
Is it really necessary to use the Powershell "DeployToDynamics365Instance.ps1"?
Regards,
Martin

    Hi Clofy,

we have found our problem. Our "backend" language setting with "localized content, "correct parent eventmanagementapplocalization" to JSONs was totally broken.

We have fixed these issues. Now everything is working fine.

We are using the portal code from may 2020.

    Regards,

    Martin

    Hi Martin,

Can you get the 404 JSONs  if you enter their URL directly?

    e.g

    waz.PNG

    https://company.powerappsportal.com/localization/yourjson.json

    wa.PNG

We can read web file directly via its partial URL if there is an associated note attachment.

In a word, please try clearing portal cache at first to make sure your web files are valid.
